Kenting Part 2

The last time we only went Kenting for water activities, so this time we made a trip to visit kenting's attractions! We were hoping that this would be fun because it is our last traveling trip and exchange is coming to an end soon! :(

Nevertheless, 4 of us 包车 for the whole day for 5000NT, which works out to $57sgd (!!!) each, to be ferried from our doorstep, to Kenting's attractions, and back to our doorstep again #princesslife. It is extra shiok because we don't need to plan the itinerary because the driver will take care of it! It's like: slack in the car> driver tells us we've reached> get out of the car and walk around/snap pictures>get back into car... And the cycle repeats. As a result, I don't really know all the names of the attractions that we went to LOL. Anyways, let's go!

萬里桐
The beach was so pretty! Turquoise gradiented waters! My camera didn't do it justice haha
Group photo by the selfie pro, Nicole.

Lunch at 後壁湖
Tried the salmon sashimi at Houbihu last time and we loved it so much that we had to have it again! 15 ultra fresh and melty slices for just $4.50sgd (!!!)

Also had our favorite 空心菜 vegetables, scallops and oyster omelette <3

白砂
We didn't know that Bai2sha1 was the filming site of Life of Pi! So cool!

The winds are soooo strong so our hair started to look crazy.

Back in the car, the roomies insisted I take a photo of my crazy hair =.=

Eluanbi lighthouse
The iconic lighthouse! I have no idea how people take nice jump shots LOL

Taiwan Southernmost Point
This is erm.. The most southern part of Taiwan haha. Captain obvious again ><

It's overlooking a gorgeous beach! But hard to take photos because there were many tourists there also!

風吹砂
Selfies because the sunlight was so good!

關山
One of the attractions was this 飛來石 which was actually blown here by a typhoon!! And the rock is shaped like a tortoise lol

Our actual purpose in coming to 關山 was to see the sunset!
When the sun finally set there was a silver lining on the clouds!

出火 Nature Fire
The rocks here naturally ignite! Although we were quite bummed that the flames were so small lol. Still we had fun roasting marshmallows and playing with sparklers.

Our cameras couldn't really capture the sparklers so our driver helped us take a VIDEO with Nicole's camera while we twirled the sparklers awkwardly for what seemed like such a long duration. Not sure if I want to watch that video when Nicole uploads it =.=
Toasted marshmallows are awesome!

Kenting Night Market
Finally it's time for dinner!! The night market food is nice but not exceptional, but we enjoyed ourselves overall!

Took another 2 hours to drive back to Kaohsiung back to the cosy apartment! (Actually not so cozy because it's so cold these days). Time to gear up for 1 last final paper and 4 more projects!
